The central message of our business is to survive with the environment that we need to keep environment in mind when we do things for our business. This is strongly influenced by the natural resorver institute here in Huangshan. In jiulongfeng they have particular area that they separate away from cities to protect the biodiversity in this area. Our action when we leave some honey in their hives to help them get over winter would help to preserve their population better. 

Our Community

The main reason that our business get to survive and being able to continue to influence other came from the local community. The local community provided high quality honey for us to sell and it's those high quality honey that made us stand out from the rest of other honey production businesses.  The local community had provided trust that each and every single individual who participated in the bee keeping business are responsible for themselves and keep our quality high as what you guys could see today. They are the reason that our business could thrive and continue.

Bee keepers in huangshan is not a traditional career that has been passed for decades, it is more about producing new opportunities as the young people who was born in the town, went out for education and bought back new suggestion and beeing keeping is one of them. Bee keepers do not have teachers or professional keepers to get experience, they learn all of their skills from the internet and work their way out by days and days of practice. Bee keeping requires a lot of energy and dedication, and all of the bee keepers in huangshan are willing to put in the effort just to let people to have a chance to taste those pure and natural honey.

Further more, some of those bee keepers work with the local natural reserve program and participate in the process of making the natural protected area in huangshan better. Those hives are not build for money, it is more about producing honey for the family and make it gift for relatives.
